Rep. Greg Casar (D-TX) opened the Pro-Human Assembly arguing that a race is worth winning only if the finish line is somewhere you want to be. In the AI 'arms race', you cross the line and fall off a cliff. If someone 'wins' the superintelligence race, humanity loses control.
