Today, on #LGBTQIAEqualPay Awareness Day, we're calling on Congress to pass the BE HEARD in the Workplace Act, which would strengthen federal anti-discrimination law for all & make clear once and for all: discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity is illegal. No more loopholes or rollbacks. Every worker deserves protection. Email Congress at the link below to show your support. #PrideInYourPay #LGBTQIAequalpay #BeHEARD

🗣️ In a year of relentless anti-LGBTQIA+ legislation, let's stand firm against wage inequality, discrimination, and poverty that contribute to the #WageGap for #LGBTQ workers. Together, we demand better workplaces & fair pay for our community! 🌈💼 Learn more at equalpay2day.org #PrideInYourPay #LGBTQIAEqualPay

The BE HEARD in the Workplace Act would strengthen federal protections against workplace harassment and discrimination, and would make it clear that discrimination based on sexual orientation and/or gender identity is against the law. BE HEARD will help LGBTQIA+ workers access equal opportunity and fair pay. That’s especially important now, when the EEOC’s enforcement and protection of ALL workers has been weakened and weaponized. #LGBTQIAEqualPay #PrideInYourPay #BeHEARD

LGBTQIA+ individuals deserve more than just survival, they deserve equity, safe working conditions and dignified pay. From the fight for the 8-hour workday, work breaks, and the weekend, the labor movement has proven that when workers organize and stick together, they win. At a time when anti-LGBTQIA+ legislation is advancing across the country and the EEOC rolls back critical protections, unions remain the trusted place where working people can stand together, demand dignity, and protect each other on the job. An injury to one is an injury to all. Equal pay. Equal rights. Labor rights! 🏳️‍🌈✊🏼🏳️‍⚧️ #PrideInYourPay#LGBTQIAEqualPayDay #WorkersRights #UnionStrong #SolidarityForever

En medio de leyes anti-LGBTQIA+, seguimos luchando contra la desigualdad, la discriminación y la pobreza. Exigimos entornos laborales dignos y salarios justos para nuestra comunidad. 🌈💼 #PrideInYourPay #LGBTQEqualPay

Today is #LGBTQIAEqualPay Day. We know that LGBTQI+ households are facing a serious wage gap, with losses adding up to thousands of dollars a year. #PrideInYourPay

🏳️‍🌈✊🏼🏳️‍⚧️This#LGBTQIAequalpayday, we bring awareness to the fact that LGBTQIA+ workers earn about 90 cents on the dollar compared to their heterosexual and cisgender peers. We also acknowledge that the fight for worker's rights, doesn't stop at pay but also includes dignity and fair treatment of all workers in workplaces free from discrimination and harassment. That is why we need to pass The BE HEARD in the Workplace Act. 🚨Contact your members of Congress and urge them to support the BE HEARD in the Workplace Act. Together, we can grow a more powerful movement where every worker and their contributions are valued. #PrideInYourPay #LGBTQEqualPay #PrideatWork #PrideInYourPay

LGBTQ+ Equal Pay Awareness Day allows Native Americans time to reflect on the value of their labor - it built this land! Equal pay for Indigenous LGBTQ+ workers is not just a request. It is a long overdue justice. #PrideInYourPay #LGBTQEqualPay

Since 1966, the EEOC has required many employers to report workplace demographic data on their employees each year—including things like job category, gender, and race/ethnicity. This data is a powerful tool for fighting workplace discrimination. It aids EEOC investigations by illustrating patterns of discrimination, allows employers to examine their own employment practices, and provides vital information to researchers, the press, and the public. The administration is threatening to end EEO-1 reporting, which will make it harder to find and address employment discrimination. And you can’t fix something you can’t see! #LGBTQIAEqualPay #PrideInYourPay

EEO-1 data collections are NOT new. They have been utilized by both Democratic and Republican administrations since the 1960s to ensure workplace fairness. They are vital, non-partisan tools for accountability. We must protect them. #LGBTQEqualPay #PrideInYourPay
